Full description:

A vacancy has arisen for this role, which will be based in the Aberdeen Application Engineering Department with the possibility of working at other sites.

The principal duties for this role are:

* Managing & supporting a team of 5 Application Engineers in the delivery of products and services and to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Contribute to the overall company strategy from an applications aspect
* Assist in the development of new products and support Alpha & Beta testing
* If required support Applications team when they carry out customer visits and support customer demonstrations by the sales team
* Assist in developing application testing procedures for new or planned sensors
* Support training for company staff on applications of new products
* Assist with creation and capture of company knowledge and understanding of industry requirements and applications
* Manage the duty rota for the on call requirements for customer technical queries
* Manage cover requirements to ensure that the team is available at all times.

This is a Customer facing role so the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and preferably, prior experience at a supervisory level in a similar role and will be able to work to a very advanced technical level often on their own initiative with limited supervision.

A history of working in a customer facing environment with subsea sensor equipment would be advantageous.

Due to the nature of the role, on occasions there will be a requirement for International travel so the Candidate must have a valid Passport and no restrictions to working abroad as well as a full Driverís license.

Some of the offsite working may involve working in an offshore environment or at customerís facilities. (Full training will be provided).

Qualifications:

HND Qualification required with a degree level preferred.
