Tekmar Energy Limited (TEL) and Subsea Innovation Limited (SIL) signed a strategic collaborations agreement to collaborate in sales, product development and strategic initiatives towards cost and risk reduction in both offshore wind farm (OWF) cabling equipment and oil & gas SURF and pipeline ancillaries.

Tekmar Energy is a market leading supplier in the offshore wind farm sector suppling its patented technology TEKLINK® cable protection system (CPS) on over 45 renewable projects.

Recent CPS successful projects include;
1.    4-Dong Energy projects (Burbo Bank, Race Bank, Walney Extension and Borkum Riffgrund II)
2.    1st ever USA offshore wind project Block Island.
3.    The first UK round three project Rampion with JDR and E-on.

Subsea Innovation is a market leading company in the design and build of specialist equipment for the Oil and Gas, marine, offshore and subsea environment.

Projects include;
1.    Bespoke design and build of installation and decommissioning equipment including a diverless mattress deployment system.
2.    Delivery of over 100 bespoke launch and recovery systems (LARS)
3.    Award of a multimillion pound contract from Subsea 7 for emergency pipeline repair systems (EPRS)

This is a signed agreement to develop new solutions for;  
1.    Offshore cable and SURF installation and manufacturing equipment.
2.    Advanced pipeline repair systems and subsea sealing solutions. (EPRC and J-tube seals).
3.    SURF and cable protection solutions. (Bend restrictors and hang-off systems).
4.    Bespoke tooling for offshore installations. (Excavation, burial, deployment and cutting).
