The world’s leading and sole dedicated provider of mass flow excavation (MFE) services has achieved ISO 9001, ISO 4001 and OHSAS 18001 statuses.

James Fisher Subsea Excavation’s processes and operations were rigorously examined before the certifications were issued by DNV GL. The company decided to apply for all three at once and achieved certification within six months of starting the process.

James Fisher Subsea Excavation, which has its headquarters in Oldmeldrum, Scotland, as well as bases worldwide in Houston, UAE, Singapore and Mexico, underwent three days of intense scrutiny to ensure its practices met with the high standards of the certifications.

The process involved in becoming ISO and OHSAS Certified is notoriously difficult and many companies have to make major changes after being audited before they can receive certification. We boldly made the decision to gain certification for all three standards simultaneously and achieved this goal on our first attempt within just six months of beginning the process. This is a fantastic achievement and evidence of our dedication and commitment to health and safety, quality and the environment.”

ISO 9001 is a quality management standard that presents guidelines which are intended to increase business efficiency and customer satisfaction whileISO 14001 is an environmental management standard and OHSAS 18001 is an occupational health and safety management standard.

Its management and operational teams are responsible for the completion of more than 350 projects in more than 40 countries.
