Hydratight, one of the world’s leading joint integrity companies, and Connector Subsea Solutions, a dedicated deepwater subsea engineering company, have signed a formal agreement to jointly supply Subsea Pipeline Maintenance and Repair Solutions.

In response to the increasing pressures which see modern oil and gas exploration constantly evolving, to ever increasing depths. The combined strength of Hydratight and Connector Subsea Solutions enables a complete packaged solution for remote pipeline repair, including all deployment, installation and full life of field repairs to take place.

The combined system offering enables the remote deployment and installation of Hydratight Mechanical Connectors using innovative, field proven solutions. With more than 35 years of joint experience, the collaboration enables the subsea repair of deepwater, high pressure, high temperature, exotic materials, pipelines and riser installations including steel catenary and hybrid towers.

Paul Hughes, Global Subsea Market Leader at Hydratight said: "Although we have a significant track record in supplying subsea solutions, the deepwater applications have been limited to the North Sea where we have contracts in place to supply emergency pipeline repair systems up to 1000m. By combining our expertise with that of Connector Subsea Solutions, we are making our technologies available globally”. .

Pål Magne Hisdal, Managing Director at Connector Subsea Solutions further comments: "Connector Subsea Solutions has been solving deep water challenges since 2000 with a dedication toward deepwater pipelines in 3000m water depth. This exciting collaboration with Hydratight will enable us to push forward the technologies that we have provided extensively in Brazil.”

The Hydratight Connector Subsea Solutions collaboration has been awarded the first joint project for Angola on a vertical riser repair at 1300m. The Subsea Pipeline Maintenance and Repair Solutions offering is available now, and for further details, or to view an animation showing how the product works please visit Hydratight's website.
