Hydratight, one of the world’s leading pipeline joint integrity companies, and AS Connector, a dedicateddeepwater engineering company, have signed a formal agreement to jointly supply subsea pipelineinspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) solutions.

This collaboration comes as a response to better meet thetechnical challenges and ever increasing engineeringspecifications from the oil and gas offshore exploration andproduction sector of the market. As extraction takes place atincreasing water depths, the combined strength of Hydratightand AS Connector offers clients complete solutions for remotepipeline repairs and also bring to market new offerings andsolutions.

The combined offering allows for the remote deployment andinstallation of Hydratight mechanical connectors usinginnovative field proven systems and solutions. With over 45years of subsea experience combined, this collaborationenables the subsea repair of deepwater, high pressure, hightemperature, exotic material, horizontal pipelines and verticalriser installations, including steel catenary and hybrid towers.

Furthermore, complete solutions for pipeline freespan correction and autonomous riser cleaning andinspection, are just some of the additional services provided through this collaboration.

The subsea pipeline IRM offering is available to clients andthe partnership has already been awarded its first jointproject. This is currently undergoing FEED and is plannedto take place on a remote vertical riser repair at 1300mwater depth offshore Angola.
