SeaFlo will be running classroom based training courses in Aberdeen from Monday 7th Sept, 2020.

This course is designed for marine and subsea operations technicians, subsea engineers involved with subsea wells and life cycle asset integrity management, well interventions/maintenance or repair to subsea wells phased decommissioning and plug and abandonment operations.

The course also covers the well intervention IWCF - Well Intervention  Pressure Control (Subsea Syllabus) requirements for those seeking Pressure Control certification from levels 3 &4 at well intervention supervisors, to superintendent disciplines.  As well as providing a route for continual improvement-based training to subsea well engineers seeking the new IWCF Level 5 certification and logged CPD training for candidates that are progressing towards Chartered engineer or subsea / marine technologist disciplines.

The Seaflo Module 1 training course includes

Training exercises and simulator supported case studies, that feed into supporting the latest industry IWCF Level 5 published guidance and the gaps identified in the OGP Report 476 Issued in Nov, 2019 e.g.; addressing the recommendations, enhancements to well control training, examination and certification.

Discount for Subsea UK and SUT / IMarEST members

A special discounted* rate of £1,250 +VAT (normally £1,850 +VAT) is available for Subsea UK member companies and members of the SUT / IMarEST candidates for courses between July and November this year.

All personnel that successfully pass the training course examination will gain recognised logged continuous professional development CPD training and certification that will count as points towards registered professional technician or those seeking to pursue Chartered Engineer/ Technologist via SeaFlo's SUT/IMarEST membership partnership agreement.

*discounted course fees that are presently on offer are also discounted on the professional review application process via the SUT/IMarEST for suitably qualified applications registered within September, 2020.

The course is also being made available, as a form of e-Learning delivery mode, over a five-week period beginning late September 2020, with classroom-based courses from 17th August 2020.

This course adheres to COVID-19 government guidelines and safety requirements with strict controls on maximum attendance group levels per classroom based course.
