Following nine years of development and testing funded through a JIP, CSS are pleased to announce the launch of the only DNV Type Approved Connector capable of permanently repairing a clad or lined pipe.

To prevent aggressive pipeline media from corroding the parent pipe or the connector, we have certified a reliable, predictable and controllable method of sealing in the bore directly onto the corrosion resistant alloy (CRA) that makes up the cladding or lining. This method is contained within an End Seal Module which can be incorporated into the standard standard MORGRIP Mechanical Connector.

The End Seal Module has been fully developed in accordance with DNVGL-RP-A203 and Type Approved to OS-F101/RP-F113 and fully NACE compliant to MR0175/ISO15156.

By deploying it within the DNV Type Approved MORGRIP, this reliable solution can be deployed in both shallow (diver installed) and deepwater (remote) applications. The certification automatically covers clad and lined pipe from 10″ to 26″, up to 364 Bar. Sizes and pressures can be accommodated outside of this range with individual Product Approval attained during production.
