exploHUB: Geoscience Exploration Skills

exploHUB is a unique, newly launched training initiative, set up within the Department of Geology and Petroleum Geology at the University of Aberdeen.See the new website at: www.abdn.ac.uk/explohub
exploHUB are dedicated to developing and applying regional geoscience exploration skills by working with full-time trainees, preparing them for the challenge of discovering the Earth's remaining hydrocarbon resources.
exploHUB currently has 6 trainees in the training centre who are in Aberdeen for a nine month period between January and October 2011. Applications are now open for the January 2012 intake.
Visit exploHUB in Aberdeen to see the training environment and to meet the current trainees. Trainees are immersed in an active exploration environment and will become self-starting, free-thinking explorationists, up to date with current industry methods, tools, trends and activity.
exploHUB has a global outreach and provides a training opportunity for the staff of major international oil companies, national oil companies, small independent companies, service companies and data providers.
The cost of the training is £30,000 per trainee for the nine months.
