Subsea UK will together with the Subsea community focus on safety to deliver the safest workplace by promoting a common approach to safety. This Forum will debate, agree, plan and implement courses of action to IMPROVE SAFETY in order to achieve the mission's objectives. The Safety Forum has autonomy within the overall framework of Subsea UK membership benefits to explore any avenue it deems appropriate, that would have a positive effect on safety within the Subsea sector. Skills Forum
Subsea UK will, together with the subsea community, focus on developing, retaining and promoting further learning and utilization of people within the subsea sector. The Subsea UK skills forum is a group through which Subsea UK members will meet to discuss and share views on issues of common concern relating to skills within the subsea sector. The forum will debate, agree, plan and implement courses of action to improve skills development and retention through initiative, appropriate adoption of common work practices and methodologies and/or any other appropriate means of improving skills and in promoting best practice across the subsea community.
